The Host Churches are those that provide their church facility to the families for meals and overnight shelter. Most will use Sunday School rooms, or other rooms for use by the families for an entire week. The beds are moved into the room and it is set for use. The families thus have a 'home' for the week, and share the common area for activities for the children and a central location for meals. The meals are prepared by volunteers and a host family or group sit down to a shared meal with the guest families. Truly, the churches are taking a step into history when churches were open to the people at all times and had a variety of uses.
